Manual & Mechanical Clearance

The majority of mine and UXO clearance is undertaken using manual methods by teams of locally trained demining staff. These teams use proven methods as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that the highest international standards are achieved, and the land is free from explosive hazards. This procedure is called manual clearance.

Dynasafe Area Clearance companies also own a range of mechanical mine clearance equipment, which is often used as part of larger integrated clearance projects. Armoured vehicles and purpose-built machinery form a key part of its mine action inventory. This equipment is specifically designed to prepare, breach and clear large areas of ground; making operations more efficient and faster.
