Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support the operations of our Static Detonation Chamber (SDC) and related Balance of Plant (BOP) systems. This role encompasses the disassembly, installation, construction, systemization, and operational support for our unit. The Automation Engineer will be involved in design, implementation, troubleshooting, upgrading, and supporting the electrical and controls systems for Dynasafe designs.  The position will involve significant US travel initially with the permanent assignment based in the Huntsville, AL area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and evaluate automation code and equipment for the safe operation of the SDC and support systems.
  • Develop innovative automation solutions to enhance process efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement and execute automated tests to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Analyze production processes for automation opportunities and collaborate with teams to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation including manuals and technical reports.
  • Supervise shift automation resources and ensure systems operate to design parameters and Dynasafe standards.
  • Ensure compliance with functional specifications, customer requirements, and applicable standards.

Required Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution or equivalent education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Automation Engineering, with proficiency in Siemens Control Systems and TIA Portal.
  • Strong understanding of automation components and systems, with the ability to develop and test automation components.
  • Experience in toxic or hazardous materials environments is desired.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and computer-aided design and modeling software.
  • Ability to work safely at construction/operating sites and pass an OSHA screening physical.
  • Must pass a background investigation, drug screening, and be read into the US Army Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives Personnel Program (AA&EPP).

Position Overview: Dynasafe US LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate a significant project at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This temporary role will span from contract award to the commencement of systemization and will involve extended periods of work at both the Redstone Arsenal site and a site in Pueblo, CO. The Project Manager will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including the Prime Contractor Project Management and Engineering Teams, as well as Dynasafe’s Project Management and Engineering teams in Sweden and Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed project plan covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline, resources, risk management, and key milestones in alignment with the contract proposal.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and required skill sets for project personnel.
  • Break down project tasks into manageable sections with clear timelines, dependencies, and critical path analysis.
  • Prepare a comprehensive budget plan, including cost estimates, funding requirements, and financial controls.
  • Provide regular reports on project progress, achievements, issues, risks, and recommended actions, and attend project schedule and progress meetings.
  • Identify potential risks, perform impact assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
  • Ensure that deliverables meet quality requirements as stipulated in the contract.
