Charles Diggs

CEO Dynasafe

Charles “Charlie” Diggs is the Chief Executive Officer of Dynasafe. In this role, Mr. Diggs is responsible for the strategic direction and overall day-to-day management of the company.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Diggs served as Managing Director for the Americas for Dynasafe. His role encompassed all aspects of the company’s operations, including sales and business development for North and South America as well as developing key strategic relationships with private and governmental entities in the US market.

Prior to joining Dynasafe, Mr. Diggs worked for the Anniston Chemical Weapons Disposal Facility as the Static Detonation Chamber Plant Manager. He also held the roles of a Control Room Operator, Production Control Engineer, and Scheduler. Earlier, he served as a Nuclear-Trained Mechanical Technician and Quality Assurance Supervisor for the US Navy.

A graduate of the United States Navy Nuclear Engineering School, Mr. Diggs also has an Associate of Science (Engineering) Degree from Central Alabama Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Jacksonville State University.

Tobias Jonsson

CFO Dynasafe

Tobias Jonsson is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Dynasafe. In this role, Mr. Jonsson is responsible for managing the company’s financial actions, including financial planning, managing financial risks, and record keeping.

Prior to joining Dynasafe, Mr. Jonsson spent 10 years working as a professional CFO consultant to help companies during transition periods. He has 20 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.

A graduate of Karlstad University, Mr. Jonsson has a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).

 

Nick Puorto

Sales and Marketing Manager

Nicola “Nick” Puorto is the Sales and Marketing Manager of Dynasafe. In this role, Mr. Puorto oversees Dynasafe’s global sales and marketing programs. Prior to his current role, Mr. Puorto served as Area Sales Manager for the Americas for Dynasafe. His role encompassed overall sales performance for the Americas.

Prior to joining Dynasafe, Mr. Puorto held senior Sales and Marketing Management positions with Mistral Security, Ingersoll Rand, and Honeywell. Mr. Puorto has 20 years of experience in marketing and sales management.

Mr. Puorto holds an MBA from the John Molson School of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in education from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Risto Viinikka

Program Manager

Risto Viinikka is the Program Manager of Dynasafe. In this role, Mr. Viinikka is responsible for directing all client projects and developing competencies across Dynasafe’s project management team.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Viinikka served as a Technical Manager, Project Manager, and Site Manager for Dynasafe. Earlier, he worked as a Mechanical Plant Design Engineer. He has many years of experience in manufacturing, holding roles in stainless steel production, and working on many chemical plant projects around the world.

Russ Glesner

Protection Services Manager

Russ Glesner is the Protection Services Manager for Dynasafe. In this role, Mr. Glesner leads the effort to increase efficiencies within our global product production processes for our Protection line of products. Mr. Glesner also serves as the Area Sales Manager for Dynasafe in the Americas.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Glesner was a Project Manager for Dynasafe, leading the assembly and commissioning of three SDC plants for the US chemical demilitarization project in Pueblo, Colorado. Before joining Dynasafe, Mr. Glesner served in Kentucky as part of the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant Startup Engineering staff.  Mr. Glesner has over 15 years of combined experience working for the Anniston Alabama Chemical Weapons Disposal Facility as the Static Detonation Chamber Shift Plant Manager and the Waste Management Supervisor. Mr. Glesner also served 21 years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring in 1999.

Maria Fridberg

Managing Director DDS

Maria Fridberg serves as the Managing Director of Dynasafe Demil Systems AB, located in Karlskoga, Sweden, where she assumes responsibility for overseeing all operations.

Before her current role, Mrs. Fridberg contributed to Dynasafe as a consultant for two years, focusing on various areas such as HSE, HR, Quality, GDPR, and Strategic Procurement.

Prior to joining Dynasafe, Mrs. Fridberg held diverse managerial and specialist positions at Epiroc and Atlas Copco, spanning across the organizational structure. Throughout her career, Mrs. Fridberg has been dedicated to enhancing cross-functional cooperation to drive lasting improvements in customer satisfaction. With two decades of experience in business and organizational development, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Mrs. Fridberg holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration & Technology from Örebro University.

Diego Rossi

Managing Director DES

Diego Rossi serves as the Managing Director at Dynasafe Environmental Systems in Germany, where he oversees all facets of the company’s operations, with a particular focus on driving business development initiatives for Offgas Treatment Systems (OTS) as an integral component of Dynasafe’s client projects.

Before joining Dynasafe, Mr. Rossi held roles as a consultant for various incineration and flue gas cleaning firms. His responsibilities encompassed process engineering, project management, component engineering and procurement, as well as overseeing installation management and commissioning processes. With over 30 years of experience in plant engineering, particularly in combustion and flue gas cleaning, Mr. Rossi brings a wealth of expertise to his role.

Mr. Rossi holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical process engineering from a Swiss technical college, complemented by a postgraduate diploma in business economics.

Harley Heaton

R&D Officer

Harley Heaton is the Research and Development Officer for Dynasafe. In this role, Mr. Heaton is responsible for research, planning, and implementing new programs and overseeing the development of new products.

Prior to joining Dynasafe, Mr. Heaton was a Senior Research Scientist with Atlantic Research Corporation developing rocket propellants and R&D Manager with UXB International.  Mr. Heaton has over 20 years of experience in the demilitarization industry. He holds six US patents in the chemical field.

Mr. Heaton is a graduate of the University of Maryland and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.

Andreas Wittskog

Engineering Manager

Andreas Wittskog is the Engineering Manager for Dynasafe. In this role, Mr. Wittskog is responsible for assessing needs and providing tools for the Engineering department while providing resources to projects and developing competencies across Dynasafe’s engineering team.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Wittskog served as Lead Mechanical Engineer and Product Engineer for Dynasafe.

Prior to joining Dynasafe, Mr. Wittskog worked for several years with project management, program management, and product development of rock drills within Atlas Copco/Epiroc. Earlier, he worked with product development within the automotive industry.

A graduate of Lund University, Mr. Wittskog holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Design (M.Sc.Eng.).

Gene Wells

After Sales Manager

Gene Wells is the After Sales Manager for Dynasafe. In this role, Mr. Wells leads the effort to increase efficiencies within our After Sales processes in support of our customers.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Wells was a Technical Advisor, Project Manager and Field Engineer for Dynasafe, leading the assembly and commissioning of the SDC 2000 plant and SDC 1200 plant modification plants for processing of nerve agents in Richmond, Kentucky.

Before joining Dynasafe, Mr. Wells served in Anniston, Alabama as part of the Anniston Chemical Agent Disposal Facility effort to rid the area of all chemical weapons. He has about 9 years of combined experience working for the Anniston Alabama Chemical Weapons Disposal Facility as Area Supervisor at the Main Plant and at the Static Detonation Chamber 1200 located there.  Mr. Wells also served 20 years in the United States Navy Submarine Force, retiring in 2004.

Therese Nilsson

Procurement Manager

Therese Nilsson is the Procurement Manager for Dynasafe. In her role, she manages a broad range of responsibilities across multiple regions and functions, ensuring that the sourcing and procurement of goods and services are consistent, efficient, and cost-effective in diverse markets.

Ms. Nilsson brings 16 years of experience in supply chain management across various industries. Her extensive expertise and proven track record of success are instrumental in optimizing Dynasafe’s supply chain operations and supporting the company’s global growth and competitiveness.
