September 29, 2015
Dynasafe, the global market leader in the disposal of unexploded ordnance and other hazardous materials, announced today that the first three DynaSEALR TM, Total Containment Vessels (TCV), part of a 30 unit order for the Egyptian Police, successfully passed the factory acceptance test in Karlskoga, Sweden. A delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior led by General Alaaeldin Fathy Abdelzaher Hassan attended the testing by the Dynasafe engineers.
The three successfully tested units are part of the 30 unit order signed in January 2015, by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior. The Egyptian Police will operate the gas-tight DynaSEALR™ X10 for the safe containment and transportation of suspected Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). The factory acceptance tests mark the end of the manufacturing and rigorous testing procedures by Dynasafe in Sweden and the units are now ready for shipment to Egypt. The gas-tight DynaSEALR™ X10 is approved by the Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board (DDESB), for 10 repetitive detonations of 5kg TNT, representing the best performance in the market. Unique features such as the large opening door, the use of electrical actuators, and other featured options make this product especially desirable to customers in a variety of operating situations and conditions throughout the world. General Alaaeldin said, “We are very pleased that the tests were successful and that these high-performance protection systems will soon be in operation protecting the people and infrastructure of Egypt.” Patrik Rylander, Managing Director of Dynasafe Protection Systems commented “We have delivered more than 250 Dynasafe Protection Systems throughout the world. This contract was awarded to us after a very competitive process and we are very proud to have been selected by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior. We are delighted that representatives from the Ministry of the Interior have joined us for this successful testing in Sweden”
